Gleann Dubh-lighe Bothy
In the early 1900s, this bothy was home to the McLennan family including seven children whose dad worked on the Fassfern estate. When the cottage became unoccupied, it came under the care of the Loch Eil Outward Bound Centre, before the MBA (Mountain Bothies Association) took it on.
Glean Dubh Lighe bothy was largely destroyed by fire in 2011 and after a long debate the MBA decided to renovate it giving it wooden floors and wood pannelling so as bothies go it's a rather smart one!
