Cadair Idris is a place I return to time and again. I often see red kites soaring overhead.
Once driven to the brink of extinction in the UK, the Red Kite is now one of Wales' greatest conservation success stories. Seeing them soaring over the mountains is a wonderful sight and a reminder of how nature can recover when given the chance.
