Welcome and a huge thank you for visiting my website which shows some of my original watercolour paintings and my map paintings which has become my main focus. I started by painting on my own used maps and have since built up a large collection of used and vintage maps, some which have been kindly donated and some picked up in charity shops or on ebay. I like to preserve the original character of these maps and embrace every mark, every crease, every small tear - it all adds to the map's unique story.

I am based in North Wales and the inspiration for my paintings comes from being outdoors, with the majority of my artwork being inspired by the wildlife that I see when I'm out and about - particularly birds which I am fascinated by.

I create art that provides a connection to nature and the outdoors in your home, whether it's a mug to drink your coffee from or a custom map painting to remind you of a special memory.

I feel very lucky to live in such a beautiful part of Wales, a short distance from the mountains of Eryri/Snowdonia and the coast. I will spend hours just walking and being at one with nature and swimming in the lakes and sea. I enjoy travelling to other parts of the UK and have a particular love of Scotland with its abundance of mountains, lochs, coastline and wildlife.

My paintings are a part of me and it brings much joy when people connect to something that I have created. I am truly grateful for every purchase.
