This pair of Mute swans reside on a quarry lake close to where I live.

There is a story behind these 2 particular swans. They brought me a lot of comfort during times of lockdown in North Wales when I weren't able to travel so I couldn't get to my usual places of solitude in the hills of North Wales. Instead I would visit this beautiful quarry lake close to where I live to walk, swim and contemplate life. These 2 swans would always be there and became like familiar friends to me during a time of much uncertainty.
